Advanced Ozone Plumbing System:
Each WellSpring System comes with its own advanced plumbing system, which allows the ozone produced
by the WellSpring Ozone Purifier to be much more effective in sanitizing your spa water.
While an Ozone Purifier accomplishes the production of ozone, the dissolving or contacting of this ozone gas into the water is critical for effective treatment. The gas cannot just be exposed to the water, but rather forcefully and dynamically dissolved into the water. Non-dissolved ozone cannot provide proper treatment and thus is wasted.
Mazzei® Injector Corporation, repeatedly recognized as the world’s leading company in the science of ozone contacting, provides a precise engineered ozone system to Villeroy & Boch Spas including a Mazzei Ozone Injector, Mazzei LGM™, and a Mazzei Multiplier Nozzle.
Mazzei Ozone Injector:
As water, under pressure, moves through the injector, a vacuum is created
drawing a specific amount of ozone gas into the injector and is vigorously mixed into the water.
Unique internal mixing vanes enhance the process. Independent studies show Mazzei Ozone Injectors
as the superior method of transferring ozone into water. The Injector is manufactured from ozone
resistant PVDF thermoplastic for years of trouble-free service.
Mazzei/Del™ LGM: As the ozonated water leaves the injector, it immediately begins sanitizing the
spa water within the pipe leading to the second component, the Mazzei LGM. The exclusive design
of the LGM™ causes the ozone to quickly react with bacteria, viruses, and other organic material by
once again vigorously mixing the ozone gas in the water.
Mazzei Multiplier™ Nozzle: The Villeroy & Boch Spa ozone treatment, is completed as a jet stream
of water enters the spa through a distinctive, patented, Mazzei Multiplier Nozzle where gases are
sheared into micro bubbles. Any remaining ozone is quickly consumed in the spa water.
This complete ozone treatment system allows for a significant increase in ozone production yielding
greater sanitation and reducing the need for chemical usage.
